Thought from a Positive Mind

Sunlight pierces through the drapes as you arise from a slumber.

Splash of water across the face as you prepare for a new day.

First thought, "How can I be better than yesterday?"

Some say its easier said than done.

While some say, it can't be done.

The first goal is to prove that some can't speak for this one.

There's only one who has the right to judge.

And that one is watching from above.

Choose your destiny.

Remembering B.I.G.

First off lets have a moment of silence.................

14 years ago on this day, March 9th, we lost one of the greatest to ever touch mics, Notorious B.I.G.. He was truly one of a kind, when people say they were bred from a different cloth, B.I.G. really was a different breed of MC. Story telling over a beat so vivid, wordplay so sickening, he was and still can remain being titled The King of the Real Hip Hop era. They just dont make MCs like him anymore. And wait, one more thing, he only had 2 albums out... Just 2!! Imagine if he was still here.... The game wouldn't nearly be the way it is now.

Neo Soul artist, Marsha Ambrosius, released her first solo album 'Late Nights & Early Mornings' last Tuesday March 1, 2011 introducing herself as a solo artist. The title of the album could be read many different ways but Ms. Ambrosius mentions that the title represents the grind, in which I would interpret as well.
